TIPS to creating a GREAT video.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
1) Gather your information and learn everything you can about your topic.
2) Compose your text. Plan out in a story board (rough draft) what each frame of the video will say.
3) Collect images that will COMPLEMENT your text... the images should help your text communicate and make
your message stronger! *see the IMAGES page for more directions on collecting pictures for your video*

5) Images - every slide must have an image, but somethimes you want all text. The Instructional Video will tell you where
to get solid color images for your frames
6) Title Frame - Include a frame at the beginning to tell your audience what your video is about... something that
will CAPTURE their INTEREST!
7) Check carefully for spelling and grammar... your audience will be distracted by your errors and miss the important
information and ideas you want to share.
8) TIMING IS EVERYTHING - Be sure slides remain long enough to be read, but not so long they wonder if you fell asleep.
9) Credits Frames - Include your "credits" at the end of the video. List your sources, give your name and class, include a dedication or tribute
if you would like.
